Auction Catalogue
Victoria (1837-1901), Threepence, 1879. About as struck, attractively toned, a broad semi circle of sea green on obverse around upper margins, remainder with vivid russet hues, reverse mostly russet (£30-40)
Lacking the brilliance of the previous two coins, and in our view more likely to be a currency issue than a Maundy coin.
