Hammer Price:

Victoria (1837-1901), Threepence, 1857. About as struck, usual softness to hair, die flaw on neck, an outstanding coin, with attractive mottled grey and russet tone (£30-40)

With some underlaying brilliance, probably a Maundy issue, though the die flaw and softness of the hair raise the possibility that the coin may be a particularly good currency issue.
