D.C.M. London Gazette 20 December 1940 (France & Belgium). The following reccommendation was extracted from official sources:
‘T.S.M. Warren showed conspicuous ability, leadership and coolness under fire. His Section was attacked from the air on several occasions and was also shelled out of various positions. He always was a tower of strength, and by his quiet, determined manner, a pattern to his Section.’
