Crimea 1854-55, 2 clasps, Inkermann, Sebastopol (Captain, 38th Regt.) contemporary engraved naming; Order of the Medjidie, 5th class breast badge in silver, gold and enamels; Turkish Crimea 1855, Sardinian issue, the first much pitted, good fine, otherwise very fine (3)

Sidney Godolphin Quicke was born at Newton St. Cyres, Devon, in 1833, and enlisted in the 38th Regiment on 9 July, 1852. He served in the Crimea and was present, as Lieutenant, at the battle of Inkermann under Lord Raglan; also at Sebastopol, as Lieutenant and Captain, under Lord Raglan and Sir James Simpson.
