India General Service 1854-95, 1 clasp, Pegu (Anty. McGill, 18th Royal Irish Regt.) nearly extremely fine

1512 Anthony McGill joined his Regiment in China, from Bombay, in June 1841. According to the Muster lists he was in hospital from January to June 1842 and it is not known whether he qualified for the China War medal. During 1851 he was on escort duty from Fort William to New South Wales. He took part in the Burma campaign 1852-53, but died at Donabew on 15th March, 1853. Sold with further research.
