Crimea 1854-55, 2 clasps, Balaklava, Sebastopol (Pte. Wm. Hammond, R.N.B. Dgs.) contemporary engraved naming, some light edge bruising, otherwise very fine

William Hammond was born in Cramond, near Edinburgh, and enlisted into the Scots Greys at Edinburgh on 10 August, 1849. He was discharged on 3 February, 1855, in consequence of a severe wound in the face at Balaklava. Sold with copy service papers.
