Subadar Lehna Singh entered the Indian Army as a Sepoy on 12 April 1873. He was commissioned Jemadar on 1 November 1891 and Subadar on 16 August 1895. In addition to the medals above he is entitled to the Order of British India (1st Class), the I.G.S. 1854 for Jowaki 1877-78, Hazara 1888, Samana 1891, and Waziristan 1894-95, and to the Kabul to Kandahar Star 1880.
