Henry I (1100-1135), Penny, Annulets type, Sudbury, Wulfric, PVLFRIC ON SVD, 0.89 gms (Harris, SCMB 1987, p.90, type not noted for the moneyer; N. 857; S. 1263). A little surface corrosion on obverse at 8 o’clock, otherwise fine or better, of the highest rarity; only one other coin of the mint for this type believed known

Harris records the moneyer Wulfric active from William I type 6 (Sword) to Henry I type 5 (Voided Cross and Fleurs), i.e. a 30-year period from
c.1077-1106, but not in Henry I type 1. However, a cut Halfpenny of this type by the same moneyer is known to exist.
Unfortunately, further details of the provenance of the present coin are not known to the cataloguer
