CHINA 1857-60, 1 clasp, Taku Forts 1860, with reverse dated 1842 (John Dempsey, 2nd Bn. 60th Regt.) nearly very fine and rare Medal and clasp verified on roll.

This is an unusual and possibly unique instance of the second China war medal being issued with the 1842 reverse in error.
