The lot is sold with numerous original documents and photographs including Certificate of Discharge, several letters relating to severe gun shot wounds received in September, 1916, which resulted in paralysis of his right arm, and a large framed certificate of honourable discharge. Others included in the lot relate to his son Staff Sergeant H.J.A. Collyer who served with the R.A.S.C. during the Second World War, and include a quantity of fashion sketches drawn by him.
