Blair, North'd Fus.); KING'S SOUTH AFRICA, 2 clasps (Lieut.); 1914 MONS STAR (Major, R. Highrs.); BRITISH WAR AND VICTORY MEDALS, M.I.D. (Lt. Col. H.F. Blair-Imrie); JUBILEE 1935; CORONATION 1937, the group mounted as worn, very fine or better (8)

Lieutenant-Colonel Hew Francis Blair-Imrie commanded the 5th Battalion (Territorial Force) The Royal Highlanders (Black Watch) 1914-17, and afterwards was D.A.Q.M.G. Northern Command, York. He was twice mentioned in despatches and created C.M.G. and O.B.E., in 1915 and 1919 respectively. After the war he was Chairman of the Angus Territorial and Auxiliary Forces Association. He had served previously in the Boer War with the Northumberland Fusiliers and as A.D.C. to Lord Methuen. He died on 1 February, 1942.
