Vivian Boase Bennett qualified at Liverpool and Barr's, M.B. 1891, B.S. 1893; Surgeon Lieutenant, 28 July, 1894; Surgeon Captain, 28 July, 1897; F.R.C.S. 1906; Major 1906; Lt-Colonel 1914; Colonel 1921. Surgeon Bennett served on the North West Frontier, Tirah, 1897-98 and received the medal with two clasps.
