INDIAN MUTINY 1857-58, 1 clasp, Central India (F. Hall, 14th Lgt. Drgns.) very fine

Frederick Hall served in the East Indies from 28 December, 1857 to 10 February, 1860. He was present with the Central Indian Field Force in 1858 under Major General Sir Hugh Rose K.C.B. at the action of Koonch, 7th May; battle of Gollowlie, 22nd May; advance on and capture of Calpee, and pursuit of the rebels, 23rd May; capture of the Morar Cantonments 16th June, and the recapture of the town and fortress of Gwalior, 19th June, 1857. He received the medal for long service in 1873, and was discharged in 1875 with the rank of Sergeant. Sold with copy discharge papers.
