COLDSTREAM GUARDS OFFICER'S SHOULDER BELT PLATE, silver star surmounted with central garter in gilt and the motto 'Honi Soir Qui Mal Y Pense' on a blue ground. The central cross of St. George on a red ground, the star mounted on a burnished silver gilt slip, the whole on a gilt matted rectangular plate with the usual hook and stud fittings to the reverse, 104mm x 81mm, mid-19th century, the red enamel resto red and most blue enamel lacking, otherwise good very fine
