Distinguished Conduct Medal, G.VI.R. (3126021 Cpl., R. S. Fus.); 1939-45 Star; Africa Star; Defence & War Medals, naming largely officially re-impressed on the first, and with edge bruise and contact marks, therefore nearly very fine (5) £800-1000

D.C.M. London Gazette 16 June 1942: ‘In recognition of gallant and distinguished services during operations in Madagascar.’

‘During the night attack on Antsirane 6th May, 1942, this NCO was leading his section which was fired on from a Pill Box on the East side of the road. He showed conspicuous gallantry and disregard of danger in entering the Pill Box and capturing over a dozen prisoners.’
