India General Service 1895-1902, 1 clasp, Punjab Frontier 1897-98 (88886 Gnr., 10th Fd. By. R.A.); China 1900, 1 clasp, Relief of Pekin (88886 Gunr., 12th By. R.F. Arty.) the last with a minor correction, light contact marks, otherwise very fine (2) £250-300

This battery was especially commended by Sir Bindon Blood for getting its guns forward over very difficult terrain during the march to relieve Malakand Fort in 1897. Gunner Crouch was attached to 12 Battery, R.F.A., the only battery present at the Relief of Pekin.
