The Cheshire Regiment, an officer’s 1878 pattern blue cloth helmet bearing the QVC plate 1881-1901 (KK237), the plate and chin chain bosses are in excellent condition, no gilt remains to the spike and chin chain, some gilt remains to the spike quadrant peak trim and spinal bar, four small moth damaged areas, slight crushing on the rear peak and the chin chain lining partly detached, the plate not the original to the helmet £300-400
