Suffragette Movement, an impressive advertising board for The Suffragette, in full colour, 75cm by 51cm, depicting a lady in a red dress standing by an open gate, and holding high a copy of The Suffragette, the bottom of the poster inscribed ‘The Suffragette, 1d Weekly’, the paper poster laid on a heavy duty board, with a similar board attached to edge to act as a cover, the edges of the poster have applied overlaid borders obscuring parts of the lower inscription, otherwise the colours very bright and worthy of professional restoration £200-300

It is probable that the boards in which this poster is housed are entirely contemporary to the piece, when necessary, serving the purpose of concealing the poster quickly whilst selling the paper on the street.
