Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., V.R., narrow suspension (Wm. Miller, Boatman, H.M. Coast Guard) impressed naming, nearly very fine £40-50

William Miller was born at Lustleigh, Devon, on 23 March 1862, and entered the Navy in July 1878. He joined the Coast Guard in 1890 and became Chief Petty Officer (C.G.) in April 1910. During the Great War he was stationed in the Scottish District at Stornoway and Greenock. Sold with copy service record.
