Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 6 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Tugela Heights, Relief of Ladysmith, Transvaal, Laing’s Nek (23 Sdlr.-Sjt. G. P. Ashley, Kitchener’s F.S.) clasps mounted in order stated with unofficial rivets to third clasp, good very fine £80-100

Sold with copy of K.F.S. medal roll confirming entitlement to C.C., O.F.S., Transvaal, and additional S.A. 1901 clasps. This roll confirms that he also served with Brabant’s Horse and the Army Service Corps. It is probable that the other three clasps were awarded for service with these units.
