Edmund Martin Reed, born 23 July, 1859; commissioned 35th Foot from Militia 19 February, 1881; Lieut., Rl. Sussex Regt.,July, 1881; Lieut. Indian Staff Corps, 1 October 1882; retired as Lieutenant-Colonel. Served with the Egyptian Expedition, Royal Sussex Regt., 1882 (medal and bronze star); Burmese Expedition 1888-89 (medal with clasp).
