Sundry Silver and Hall Marked Silver Items, comprising an 1821 crown with enamelled reverse St. George slaying the dragon the obverse fitted with a base metal pin, an ‘old head’ Victorian shilling the reverse with a multi-enamelled depiction of a Boer War period wounded soldier still facing the enemy, small gold coloured mount to the top, a silver and tortoiseshell sweetheart’s brooch to the Royal West Kent Regiment (London 1916 lacking pin), a two part silver (Birmingham 1915) brooch to the Bedfordshire Imperial Yeomanry this with enamelled title scroll ‘Bedfordshire I.Y.’ (lacking pin), a hall marked silver collar badge (Birmingham 1925) to Queen Victoria’s Own Corps of Guides, a fine quality presentation medallion in hall marked silver (Birmingham 1876) of Scottish cross style format the front mounted with a gold coloured fused grenade the reverse engraved ‘1st V.B.R.S.F./2nd Best Shot/1895/Corp. W.Stevenson/D Coy.’, a fine quality gold coloured metal award, the obverse featuring a black enamelled cannon with four letters on the arms of a cross M C A V (Midlothian Coast Artillery Volunteers), the reverse with small central engraving ‘Won By/Corpl. I.Hay May 1883’, complete with suspension ring; a hall marked silver hollow backed construction brooch (Birmingham 1915) featuring an anchor overlaid with a scroll ‘HMS London’, a sterling silver model of a submarine the front engraved ‘M.W.L.’ (pin fastener missing); two vesta cases the first engraved with floral decoration over all (Birmingham 1896), the second plain (Chester 1919), good overall condition apart from defects mentioned (11) £100-150
