Orange Free State Artillery Badges, a very fine framed collection of rare examples comprising a one piece die struck brass helmet plate (Owen 2069), a one piece gilt brass slouch hat badge worn prior to 1900 (Owen 2065), a rare waist belt plate of rectangular format in plated white metal bearing a brass badge as per Owen 2065, two slouch hat badges worn prior to 1900 one in white metal the other in brass (Owen 2060/2061), a larger brass slouch hat badge in die cast brass (Owen 2063) and a very fine gilt brass version (Owen 2063), very good overall condition but the reverses not examined for fasteners (7) £400-600
