The Manchester Regiment, 1st Cadet Battalion, Drum Major’s Mace, a very fine and unique item to the Cadet Battalion, the malacca stave 152cm (5’O”) in length with crowned bulbous top in silver plate. This decorated with cast plated mounts comprising the City Arms and the Fleur-de-Lys regimental badge, this with attendant laurel sprays, it is also engraved ‘1st Cadet Battalion, The Manchester Regt.’. The shaft ornamented with criss-cross linked chains and the bottom 38cms sheathed in silver plate, c. 1886-1908, extremely fine condition £300-500
