Percy William John Regan was born in Surrey in May 1897 and entered the Royal Navy as a Stoker 2nd Class in December 1917, direct from employment as a munitions worker. He subsequently served in the convoy sloop H.M.S. Ivy from April 1918 until January 1919, shortly after which he was demobilised; sold with copied census details and service record.
