John Wiggett was born in and enlisted at Birkenhead. Serving in the 1/4th Battalion Cheshire Regiment, he entered the Egypt theatre of war on 4 August 1915. He was killed in action in Gallipoli on 26 November 1915 and was buried in the Lala Baba Cemetery. He was the son of Mr G. C. Wiggett, of Brook Farm, South Lopham, Diss, Norfolk and brother of Private George Wiggett, A.S.C. With copied research.
