A Japanese sword katana, the 72cm Shin-Shinto blade of shinogi-zakuri form, traces of suguha hamon, one mekugi-ana, signed ‘Koyama Munetsugu’, copper gilt habaki, fish-skin covered tsuka lacking binding and menuki, sentoku ishime fuchi-kashira, shakudo tsuba pierced with mon, complete with its dark red lacquer saya decorated with a repeat pattern of clouds, koi-guchi and kojiri matching hilt fittings but lacking kurikata, defects as noted otherwise good condition
