With a copied extract from the Scarborough Mercury of June 1918 stating that Mrs Normanton, of 41 Livingstone Road had received notification that her eldest son, Private W. Normanton had been wounded, was in hospital and was going on well. With copied m.i.c. - entering France on 18 April 1915; later transferred to Class ‘Z’ Reserve.

Private William Inchbold, Yorkshire Regiment, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 9 September 1915. Later transferred to Class ‘Z’ Reserve. With copied m.i.c.
