Thomas Waring attested for the Cheshire Regiment at Chester on 31 August 1885. He served in India, October 1886-October 1887 and Burma, November 1887-March 1895. Served in the Burma operations of 1887-89 and in the Chin-Lushai expedition (Northern Burma Column), 1889-90. Transferred to the Army Reserve in March 1895 and discharged on 30 August 1897. With copied service papers and roll extract.
