Aberdeen High School for Girls, an 18ct gold award medal by Vaughton, arms and supporters, rev. wreath, named (Town Council Medallist, Helen Youngson, Session 1897-98), hallmarked Birmingham 1897, 40mm, 34.85gm (Brodie 512, this piece). Virtually as struck, with clip and ring for suspension and blue ribbon, a most attractive medal; in red fitted case of issue by Geo. Jamieson & Son, 107 Union Street, Aberdeen (£250-300)
