Charles II (1649-1685), First coinage, Merks (2), both 1670, type II, leaved thistle below bust, both reading dei : and with colon after date, 6.23g/9h, 6.04g/3h (D 21; M 17; SCBI 35 –; B 7; S 5611; KM. 102.1) [2]. Fair to fine, second better but has been cleaned and with trace of mount £100-150
