Belgium, La Flandre, 1938, a bronze medal by A. de Jaeger for Arthus-Bertrand, female seated facing, holding shield and offering symbolic protection for buildings and ships, field heavily decorated with fauna, rev. legend encircled by 12 shields, 90mm (Gailhouste 190; cf. DNW 44, 932). Extremely fine and attractively patinated, very rare (£60-80)
