Death of James III, the Old Pretender, 1766, a plated copper medal by F. Cropanese, bust of Henry, Cardinal of York right in skull cap, rev. standing figure of Religion holding bible and cross, British lion and elevation of St Peter’s Church in background, 53mm (Woolf 67:1; BHM 99; E 715). Test marks on edge, good very fine, scarce as a plated piece (£60-80)
