National Fire Brigades Association L.S. Medal, with ‘Twenty Years’ brooch bar and three ‘Five Years’ clasps (2867 Arthur Evans) silver, in case of issue, good very fine and better (5) £100-140

Henry Lowe was born in Tonypandy in 1898. In 1911 he was living at 223 Court Street, Tonypandy. He joined the Fire-Brigade in 1923. Awarded the N.F.B.A. medal in 1932 as a member of the Mid-Rhondda Fire Brigade. Served as Special Constable during the war and beyond. Awarded the Coronation Medal as a Constable in the Glamorgan Constabulary. He died in the Pontypridd area in 1976. With copied research.
