Edward Arthur Kennett enlisted on 30 July 1903. As a Gunner in the 35th Brigade, R.F.A. he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 6 October 1914. As an Acting Regimental Sergeant-Major he was discharged due to sickness on 25 June 1918 and awarded the Silver War Badge (not with lot). He was issued with a clasp (not with lot) to his Star in March 1940. With copied m.i.c. and roll extract.
