Private Frank Victor Bennett (1893-1973), 16th Lancers, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 17 August 1914. Served in the 3rd Cavalry Brigade in Allenby’s Cavalry Division. Fought at Mons on 22 August. With copied m.i.c. - clasp confirmed.
