Church Lads’ Brigade Medal (3), bronze, 2 clasps, 1911, 1912, complete with brooch bar; another, bronze, 3 clasps, 1915, 1916, 1917, complete with brooch bar; another, gilt and enamel, 2 clasps, 1917, 1918, with brooch bar; Church Lads’ Brigade L.S. Medal, silver, with ‘45 Years’ bar and ‘Long Service’ brooch bar; together with a loose ‘40 years’ bar and Church Lads’ Brigade cap badges (2), a pair of ‘CLB’ titles and an enamelled ‘C.L.B.’ lapel badge, good very fine and better (10) £80-110

Harold Victor Thompson was born in Wilby, Northamptonshire c.1898, the son of Eli and Ellen Thompson. He served in the Church Lads’ Brigade at All Saints Church, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, as Drummer, Bugler and Sergeant-Bugler. With copied photographs (4) of the recipient and copied research.
