Lakey, 10 Para.’, together with the recipient’s illuminated Buckingham Palace memorial scroll in the name of ‘Private W. F. Lakey, Army Air Corps’, cleaned, good very fine or better (3) £150-200

William Frank Lakey, the son of Jessie Alice Lakey of Upper Holloway, London, was killed in action at Arnhem on 19 September 1944, aged 23 years, while serving in the 10th Battalion, Parachute Regiment (A.A.C.). He is buried in Arnhem Oosterbeek War Cemetery.
