Frank Edgar Lingeman appointed Temporary 2nd Lieutenant on 8 April 1915 (London Gazette 3 May 1915). Serving with the 18th Battalion Lancashire Fusiliers, he entered France on 29. January 1916. Promoted to Temporary Lieutenant in June 1916 (London Gazette 11 August 1916). For his wartime services he was mentioned in despatches and awarded the French Croix de Guerre. With copied research.

Private John Floris Lingeman, 16th Lancers received a commission in the Essex Yeomanry on 6 August 1915. Entering France on 7 March 1917, he died of wounds on 28 April 1917, aged 23 years. He was buried in the Boulogne Eastern Cemetery. 2 Lieutenant Lingeman was the son of F. A. Lingeman, of 12 Avenue Pierre de Serbie, Paris, France. With copied m.i.c.
