Private Andrew Hayne, Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders entered the Egyptian theatre of war on 10 June 1915. Later served as a Serjeant in the Labour Corps.

Private John R. Smith, Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 1 October 1915. Discharged on 3 May 1916 and awarded the Silver War Badge. All with copied m.i.c.; ‘Smith’ with copied SWB roll extract.
