Pair: Private W. Walker, 7th Battalion Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, killed in action, France/Flanders, 13 March 1915

William Walker lived in Edinburgh and enlisted at Stirling. Serving with the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 15 December 1914. With the 7th Battalion he was killed in action, France/Flanders on 13 March 1915, aged 29 years. He was buried in the Strand Military Cemetery. William Walker was the son of Mrs Walker, of 161 Rose Street, Edinburgh. With copied m.i.c. and casualty details.
