Harold Osborne Fleming was born in Mortlake, Surrey and enlisted at London. Serving with the 1st Battalion Somerset Light Infantry he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 21 August 1914. He was killed in action on the Western Front on 8 August 1916. He was buried in the Essex Farm Cemetery, Ieper, West-Vlaanderen. With copied m.i.c. and casualty details.
