Indian Mutiny 1857-59, no clasp (Constantine John,) extremely fine £400-500

Constantine John is confirmed on the roll as a civilian merchant at Agra. The firm of A. John & Co. were general and wholesale merchants and commission agents in the city of Agra. The Agra garrison remained loyal upon the outbreak in June 1857 and the European and Eurasian civilians there assisted in driving of mutineers from around the city.
