‘The Handyman’ Captain H. Lambton & Captain P.M. Scott Earthenware Doulton Ware Water Jug a good quality example, 21 cms in height, 14.7 cms at the base, in dark brown and buff coloured glazes and featuring transfer print portrayals of a sailor complete with rifle and bandoliers and the tally ‘HMS Powerful’ on his cap, to the left and right are head and shoulder depictions of Captain H. Lambton (RN) and Captain P.M. Scott (RM or Army) these set with outlines of floral design. The base is stamped ‘Doulton Lambeth England and 208’, very good condition £80-120
