S. Salt entered the Egypt theatre of war on 25 October 1915.

W. Storey was discharged as a result of wounds in January 1919, following active service with the 5th Battalion, Y. & L.R., and was awarded the Silver War Badge.

Ralph Evans’ service record is available online - born in Wrexham, Denbighshire, in 1892, he enlisted in the 12th Battalion, Y. & L.R., at Sheffield in September 1914, and served briefly in Egypt before being embarked for France in March 1916, where he later transferred to the 31st Divisional Company, 8th Battalion, Army Cyclist Corps. He was entitled to a 1914-15 Star trio.

Ernest E. Digby was entitled to the B.W.M. and Victory Medals.

W. Gatley entered the Egypt theatre of war on 18 January 1915, and was awarded the Silver War Badge.

John Viner’s service record is available online - born at Long Acre, Warwickshire, in 1886, he enlisted on 13 August 1914 and went out to France at the end of April 1915. Wounded by a gunshot a few days later, on 2 May, he was evacuated home and discharged in April 1916, when he was awarded the Silver War Badge.

Llewelyn Griffith and Joshua Mitchell later served in the Labour Corps and were entitled to the B.W.M. and Victory Medals.
