Edward Alfred Haines entered the R.M.A. at Birmingham in July 1916 and was demobilised as a Gunner in July 1919. He was entitled to a single B.W.M.

Harry Henkel was born in Upper Norwood, London, in October 1891, and enlisted in the R.M.L.I. in April 1910. Having served in H.M. ships Devonshire, Berwick and Carnarvon in the Great War, he also served in the 8th R.M. Battalion in Ireland from June 1920 to February 1921. Entitled to the 1914-15 Trio and the L.S. & G.C. Medal, he was discharged in April 1931, when he entered the Royal Marine Police.

John Henry Yarwood was born in Glazebrook, Lancashire in 1885, and enlisted in the R.N.R. in June 1916. Having served in H.M. Trawler Gunner from May 1917 until September 1918, he was demobilised in February 1919 and awarded £50 Naval Prize Money.

Arthur Worsley was born at Swinton, Lancashire, in July 1897, and entered the R.N. in July 1916. Transferring to the R.N.V.R., he survived the loss of the defensively equipped merchantman S.S. Algiers in the Channel on 26 February 1917, and was demobilised in February 1919.

Alec Douglas Brown was born at Henley-on-Thames in February 1897 and originally enlisted in the R.N.A.S. Re-mustered as an engineer in the R.A.F., after serving at Daedalus, he was entitled to a single B.W.M.

Harry Wonnacott served in Merchant Fleet Auxiliary, Mercantile Marine Reserve, and was entitled to the B.W.M. and Victory Medals.

Alfred Henry Blake was born in Southampton in July 1899, and served in the Mercantile Marine; as did William Burrell, who was born in Tottenham in August 1894, David John Griffiths, who was born in Amlwch, Angelsea, Thomas Henry Noble, who was born in Kennington in 1873, and John Oberg, who was born in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1869.
