Private Daniel Readon, 1/5th Battalion Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, killed in action, 30 January 1917. His name is recorded on the Cambrai Memorial.

Private Daniel Calderwood, Worcestershire Regiment, entered France/Flanders on 19 July 1915. Discharged 18 July 1916 due to sickness and awarded the Silver War Badge.

Private Thomas Tonge, 9th Battalion Notts. & Derby. Regiment entered the Balkan theatre of war, September 1915. Discharged 12 December 1917 due to shell shock and was awarded the Silver War Badge.

Private Ephraim Henry Sharman, 1st Battalion Northamptonshire Regiment, from Wortham, Norfolk, died of wounds on 28 May 1916 and was buried in Bethune Town Cemetery. He was the son of Fred and Sarah Sharman and husband of Margaret Sharman, all of Wortham.

Edward W. Salter was born in Kennington, Surrey. Killed in action on 23 March 1918, aged 19 years. The C.W.G.C. list him as being in the 8th Battalion Norfolk Regiment but the battalion had been disbanded a month prior to this and the soldiers transferred to the 7th and 9th Battalions. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial.

Private T. Metten, 2nd Battalion Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry, died in France on 28 November 1918, aged 22 years. He was buried in the Tourlaville Communal Cemetery. He was the son of Mr & Mrs Metten, of Paddington, London. Discharged 23 October 1918 due to wounds and awarded the Silver War Badge.

Corporal Albert Clarke, Notts. & Derby. Regiment, discharged due to wounds on 23 October 1918 and awarded the Silver War Badge. All with copied research.
