Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902 (2), 4 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902 (3280 Serjt: T. Hallchurch. 5th Dragoon Gds:); 3 clasps, Cape Colony, Paardeberg, Driefontein (21054 Gnr: J. Heath, 82nd Bty: R.F.A.) official correction to number and rank, the first with edge bruising and contact marks, good fine, the second very fine (2) £150-200

Sergeant T. Hallchurch is entitled to the Queen’s medal with clasps for Orange Free State, Transvaal and Natal, and the King’s medal with the usual two clasps. He was recalled for service with the Royal Flying Corps during the Great War but did not serve overseas and is not entitled to Great War medals. Sold with copied service and discharge papers.

21054 Gunner J. Heath, 82nd Battery, R.F.A., died of disease at Bloemfontein on 28 May 1900. With copied roll extract.
