Arthur Craven Lane was born in Hull; employed as a Solicitor’s Clerk. Enlisted into the Territorial Force on 8 April 1915. Served in the Middle East, 22 October 1915-18 February 1916. Having served 120 days in Gallipoli he was discharged as no longer physically fit on 21 July 1917. With original discharge certificates in official wallet.
