William Thomas Crisfield, 23rd Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, enlisted on 31 December 1914. Awarded the M.M. for bravery in the field. Discharged due to a gunshot wound on 8 April 1918. Additionally awarded the British War and Victory Medals and Silver War Badge.

A note with the lot reads, ‘Awarded Military Medal for conduct during raid on night of 11th and 12th February’. With copied m.i.c. and roll extract.
